Your administrator will let you know how to download and install Nomad. After you've installed Nomad, follow these steps to set it up.
If your Notes ID file is not in an ID vault on a server, make a local copy of it in Files on your iPad. (To see whether your ID file is in a vault, from Notes, click File > Security > User Security. You see the following text in the Security Basics tab when your ID is in a vault: "This ID file has been backed up into vault xxxx".)
Open HCL Nomad on the iPad.
Complete the Client Configuration page that opens and then click Next.
In the Your name field, enter the name associated with your Notes ID, for example, Samantha Daryn/Renovations. Type the full hierarchial name.
In the Domino server name field, enter your Domino mail server, for example, Mail2/Renovations.
If prompted to enter a server address, enter the DNS name for the server, for example, mail2.renovations.com.
Provide the password for your Notes ID and click Next. If you see a message stating that the ID file can't be found on the server, browse and select a local copy of the file on your iPad.
Wait a little bit until Nomad connects to the Domino server and then opens.
Note: If your Notes mail is in the cloud, your administrator may have reset your Notes ID password. In this case, in Step 5, enter the temporary password that your administrator provided. After you do, you are prompted to set a new password.
