Proton test overview

This section shows how to setup and run a sample utility that ships with the domino-db Node.js module. We will:

1. Configure the user ID for connecting to Proton.
2. Install and configure the ptest tool.
3. Use ptest to make DQL queries against the Domino directory.

We use an Administrator user because the examples we show later in the document query names.nsf. Therefore, the user that uses the ptest tool must have Read access to names.nsf on the Domino server.
