Administration Overview

This document describes how to manage components of the AppDev Pack running on a Domino server.

The Quick Start Guide describes how to quickly setup Proton for the first time on a Domino 12 server.

The Step-by-Step Setup Guide describes how to configure all the AppDev Pack components and demonstrates all the capabilities. Follow the setup guide if you are just getting started with the AppDev Pack.

You must install and configure Proton before a Node.js developer can use the AppDev Pack or the IAM Service. To get started with Proton follow the installation instructions and use the administration page for details about the configuration options.

Before a Node.js developer can use the Domino Query Language (DQL), you must also create a design catalog. The design catalog contains optimized design data about your application databases on your server. To create a design catalog, visit the Design Catalog Administration page.
