Administration Overview

You must install and configure Proton before a Node.js developer can use the AppDev Pack. To get started with Proton, extract <domino>-proton-addin-<version>.tgz from the AppDev pack and visit the Proton Administration page.

Before a Node.js developer can use the Domino Query Language (DQL), you must also create a design catalog. The design catalog is a special database that contains optimized design data about one or more application databases on your server. To create a design catalog, visit the Design Catalog Administration page.
